Think of Cerbaiona as the Richebourg of Montalcino

Earlier this year the legendary Brunello figure and former owner of the famous Cerabiona estate, Diego Molinari, sadly passed away after a long battle with illness.   In 2015, after many years of speculation, Diego and Nora Molinari sold the Estate, ending years of uncertainty about the future.  The new ownership team, headed by lead investor Gary Rieschel and estate manager Matthew Fioretti is now in place and all Cerbaiona fans (including myself) are desperate for the wines to maintain the extraordinary quality level they have set over the past 4 decades.  The 1990 still ranks as one of the best wines I have ever tasted.   ‘Cerbaiona.
